I get a Japanese manual installed with my SB Audigy 2 ZS, why?

A Japanese manual will be installed if the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Digital Audio instead of Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS or Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro is selected as a product. To install an English manual into your system, follow the procedures below.

1. Search the hard drive for the A2ZSDA.CHM file, the name of the product manual. The default location is C:\Program Files\Creative\Audigy2ZS\Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Manual\English

2. Rename the file to A2ZSDA.OLD, or any other name.

3. Insert the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS installation CD-ROM disk. Exit from the Auto Run installation program. Right click on the CD-ROM drive icon, and select Explore, then browse to the Manual\English folder in your CD-ROM drive. There are three files:

   A2ZSDA.CHM	Japanese manual for Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Digital Audio
   A2ZSPro.CHM	English manual for Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro
   ZS.CHM	English manual for Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS and Platinum

   
   

4. Copy the appropriate file (A2ZS.CHM for Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS or A2ZSPro.CHM for Platinum Pro) to the location where the A2ZSDA.CHM file is located (step 1). The default location is C:\Program Files\Creative\Audigy2ZS\Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Manual\English

5. Rename the file copied (A2ZS.CHM or A2ZSPro.CHM) to A2ZSDA.CHM. The manual should appear in English when accessed.
